Scope

A Foreman and two mechanics who report to the Superintendent of Public Works manage the Town's fleet of eighty-plus pieces of equipment which includes EMS, Police, Fire, small equipment and building generators. The two mechanics save the town money by providing preventative maintenance checks on all town equipment. These checks prevent costly repairs and time delays.
